3.    Fundraising awards and sponsorship

Please be reminded to collect the donation before 30 December. You are encouraged to make use of your fundraising team page for raising funds. Not only can your family and friends leave encouraging messages for your team there, but they can also make donations there to support your team, which greatly reduces our administrative costs. Your sponsors can print out tax-deductible receipts on their own too, and using this page means you do not need to record donations on sponsorship forms and send them back to Oxfam Hong Kong.

If your team is using the sponsorship form for collecting donations, please send us the sponsorship form (sponsors’ names, needed for tax deduction claims in Hong Kong, must be written correctly together with the original copies of the deposit slips, the printed copy of the online transfer acknowledgement note and all cheques by post or in person to Oxfam Hong Kong on or before 30 December 2025. Please write ‘Oxfam Trailwalker 2025’, your team number and each team member’s full name in English on the back. Writing the wrong team number will result in crediting your sponsorship to another team!

You MUST photocopy or scan all of your sponsorship records. Please do not destroy the copies until you have received all the receipts. Receipts will be sent to the team member whose name is on the sponsorship form or corporate coordinator. If your mailing address changes, please contact Oxfam Hong Kong.

To reduce administrative costs, the tax deduction receipts (For Hong Kong taxpayers only) will only be issued for donations of HK$100 or above.

Teams that raise HK$38,000 or above will have priority in registering for OTW 2026 as Special Teams. Teams or organisations that raise over HK$50,000 will be acknowledged in the OTW 2025 Thank You Advertisement, which will be published in newspapers. Teams that raise over HK$100,000 will each receive an ‘Oxfam Trailwalker Outstanding Fundraiser Award’.

The following awards will also be presented to the top fundraising teams:

-       Fundraising Awards – Awarded to the top three fundraising teams or organisations, as well as teams or organisations that raise the highest amount of sponsorship in each category (provided they have raised over HK$200,000).

-       Outstanding Fundraiser Awards – Awarded to teams that raise HK$100,000 or more.

-       Outstanding Online Fundraiser Award – Awarded to the team which has raised the highest amount online.

Special prizes – Asia Miles or Two consecutive nights stay at Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel

-       Cathay Pacific Airways Limited, the Airline Partner, has donated 1,000,000 Asia Miles, which will be awarded to 10 teams. Each team will be awarded 100,000 Asia Miles (25,000 Asia Miles per team member).

-       Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel, the Official Hotel, has donated 20 sets of vouchers for redeeming one Deluxe Seaview room for two consecutive nights, which will be awarded to 5 teams. Each team will be awarded 4 sets of vouchers (1 set of vouchers per team member).

Any team that has raised HK$38,000 or above by 30 December 2025 is eligible to enter the lucky draw to win either of the above prizes. The awarded prize will be evenly shared by the four registered members of each winning team. The right to enter the lucky draw will be forfeited if the team cannot submit all proof of donations to Oxfam Hong Kong on or before 30 December 2025 (according to the postmark). Teams that submit their raised sponsorship and / or proof of their donations late (i.e. after 30 December 2025) will not be considered for the lucky draw.

The tentative date for the Oxfam Trailwalker 2025 Presentation Ceremony is 24 March 2026. Winning teams of the speed and fundraising awards will be invited to attend. On the same day, a thank-you advertisement will be published in both Chinese and English newspapers, listing the names of the fundraising award winners in each category, as well as the names of teams/companies/organisations that raised HK$50,000 or more.

 4. Be kind to the environment and the facilities of checkpoints

Paper cups or disposable containers will not be provided at start point, finish point and all checkpoints. Participants are required to bring their own bottles / cups / containers and cutlery to enjoy the food and beverage provided at checkpoints (including the cup noodles provided at CP7).

Recycling station will be set up at each CP (except start point and CP1) to collect recyclable items. Please follow the instruction on-site by putting the recyclable items into the recycling station. Please do not put other waste into these recycling stations.

To maintain the cleanliness of the venue, please note that spraying aerated beverages is strictly prohibited and pets are not allowed at the finish point (Harrow International School Hong Kong).
