FAQ for Making Overseas Payments / Donations

1)      Why am I unable to make payments or donations with VISA/ Master/ UnionPay/ American Express credit cards?

Please ensure that your credit card has been activated for overseas online payment.


2)      Can I choose to settle in other currencies?

All payments or donations can only be settled in Hong Kong dollars.


3)      What should I do if I do not have a credit card or if my credit card cannot be activated for overseas online payments?

You can choose to deposit the funds into the following Oxfam Hong Kong account via overseas remittance, and indicate "Oxfam Trailwalker" and team number (if applicable) on the remittance advice, upon the completion of remittance, please send the receipt to otwinfo@oxfam.org.hk.

(Please note: When you make your overseas remittances, any relevant handling fees will be borne by the remitter.)

4)      Can I make a payment or donation through other electronic payment methods?

You can pay via AlipayHK. You can scan the QR code below to make a payment or donation, and input "Oxfam Trailwalker" and team number (if applicable) in the field of "Donor No./Phone No.". Upon completion, please send a screenshot of the payment details to otwinfo@oxfam.org.hk.

5)      Can I submit the payments or donations for Hong Kong “Oxfam Trailwalker” to overseas Oxfam?

All Hong Kong “Oxfam Trailwalker” payments or donations should only be donated to Oxfam Hong Kong.
