Introduction

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Oxfam Hong Kong (OHK) is launching for the first time this year “Oxfam Trailwalker 2026 – Oxfam 50th Anniversary Edition (20KM)”, giving participants the opportunity to experience this fundraising hiking event that is both challenging and socially meaningful. This event is scheduled for 21 November 2026 (Saturday). The 20 km trail starts at the Rotary Park car park in Tai Mo Shan and finishes at Harrow International School Hong Kong in Tuen Mun. There is one checkpoint along the route. The OTW route is quite challenging; participants are advised to train adequately before the event (please visit our website for more information about the route: www.oxfamtrailwalker.org.hk).

Over the past year, Oxfam has implemented a wide range of poverty alleviation work in Hong Kong. Please visit Oxfam’s website (https://www.oxfam.org.hk) to learn how the donations raised, including those from the OTW, can help disadvantaged groups improve their lives sustainably.

Registration Procedures for Teams That Have Been Chosen:

Submit the registration fee of HK$1,600 along with all four participants’ information on or before 6:00 pm on 30 June to confirm your team’s participation, otherwise OHK will assume that the team will not join the event. Your slot will be allotted to the next team on the waiting list.

3. Notes on forfeiting your team slot:

If your team decides to give up your team slot, you must give Oxfam written notice ASAP. Teams that withdraw and give written notice after 14 August 2026 will need to raise the minimum sponsorship. Please refer to the following for details:

All sponsorship must be paid to Oxfam Hong Kong no later than 23 December 2026. Any team that raises HK$38,000 or above in donations will be eligible to enter a lucky draw for a special prize and to enjoy priority registration as a ‘Special Team’ of Oxfam Trailwalker 2027. The Organiser reserves the right not to accept applications for future Oxfam Trailwalker events from participants who fail to comply with the above stipulations.
