Oxfam Trailwalker 2015 Trip to Nepal
Nepal is famous as “The roof of the world”. This is the most alpine state on the planet, ranging from an attitude of 70m at Terai Valley, to the Mt. Everest at 8,848m. This extraordinary landscape is the home of fearless military prowess – the Gurkha.
The devastating earthquakes however struck Nepal on 25 April 2015 destroyed over 600,000 homes.
