Oxfam Trailwalker 2016 Open Team Application starts on May 9

Application Period: 9 May 2016 10am – 25 May 2016 6pm

Last year, 5,112 Oxfam Trailwalkers helped raise about HK$34 million to support Oxfam’s development projects and emergency relief programs around the world. Thanks again for your great contribution!

This year’s Oxfam Trailwalker has been scheduled for 18-20 November 2016 (Friday-Sunday). The trail starts at Pak Tam Chung in Sai Kung and finishes at Po Leung Kuk Jockey Club Tai Tong Holiday Camp in Yuen Long. The Open Team Category will accept 540 teams. Arrangement for start times and quotas are listed in the following:

8:30am	S01 – S70	70	Oxfam Super Trailwalker Team	Teams should be awarded the right to participate before applying to this category. Teams should have at least three members who have finished Oxfam Trailwalker events within 20 hours at least ONCE in the past three years (i.e. 2013, 2014 and 2015).
8:30am	5001-5110	110	24-hour Team	Teams should be awarded the right to participate before applying to this category. Teams should have at least three members who have finished Oxfam Trailwalker events within 24 hours at least ONCE in the past three years (i.e. 2013, 2014 and 2015).
9:30am	0001-0300	300	Special Team	Teams raised HK$32,000 or above in Oxfam Trailwalker 2015 (As qualifying teams exceed 300, some special teams will have to start at 11:00am)
11am	0301-0580	280	a. Pledge Team b. Sponsors & Supporting Org. Team	a. Any team making a pledge of HK$70,000 or more to Oxfam Trailwalker 2015 can apply for this category (Quota: 50 teams). For details, please contact Oxfam. b. Teams from sponsoring companies and supporting organisations.
12:30pm	0581-0850	270	Open Team	Teams will be allocated by lottery. Teams allocated a slot will have to complete a registration procedure next page.
2pm	0851-1120	270	Open Team	Teams will be allocated by lottery. Teams allocated a slot will have to complete a registration procedure next page.

Male/ Female/ Mixed/ Veteran I (aged 50-59) and Veteran II (aged 60 or above) categories will be assigned according to the personal details of each team.
Oxfam reserves the right to change the event dates and routes in consideration of adverse weather conditions and/or other unpredictable factors.
All participants will be required to sign a disclaimer at the start of the event to agree that they take part in the event at their own risk.
